Interkulturelles Projektmanagement

Intercultural project management

In an internationally connected world, successful project management requires not only a mastery of traditional methods, but also intercultural expertise.

This course bridges the gap between the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK® Guide) and the practice of cross-cultural project management. It prepares you to manage projects in different cultural environments with confidence.

In this course you will learn:

  • How to adapt planning, implementation and control to the cultural characteristics of international teams
  • How to use cultural know-how to improve communication with stakeholders
  • Strategies to recognise and mitigate risks caused by cultural differences in the way risks are perceived and managed
  • How to take into account cultural differences in work ethics, time management and use of resources to achieve optimal project planning and delivery.

This course is ideal for:

  • Project Managers who are familiar with the PMBOK and want to extend their knowledge to include intercultural project management.
  • Professionals who lead international teams or manage international projects
  • Managers who want to develop their intercultural leadership and project management skills.
